Scotland in Clay County?

We went to the Scottish games again this year and had more fun! We saw this English policeman walking around, he was really from England! So were the ladies with him so Mom made me get a picture with them. I told her just to let Skye but someone had to hold her so I had to get in the picture too. Gee. Thrilling. The rest of the day was good though, I got to pet some animals in the petting zoo and throw a sheep (not a real one!) The bagpipes hurt my ears but mom says they are beautiful and she loves the music. I loved the birds of prey, the falcons and eagles were soooo cool! We got to see Evan, Jason, Nicole, Grandma Kelly, Nan, and Pop there too. I wish Daddy could have gone, he likes doing that kind of stuff with us. It was neat.

Wishing for summer....

I love going to my Grandaddy's house anytime but I have to admit that summer is my FAVORITE time to be there. He lives on this cool lake and he has a ski boat, a fishing boat, and a kayak. Well, the kayak is Uncle Clint's but since I am really good at it they let me take it out all by myself. I love my Grandaddy's jeep, I want one when I turn 16. Mom and Dad say if I keep my grades up and I am a good girl then we'll see about getting a used one....mabye. I am doing some flips over the bar waiting for Grandaddy to come take me for a ride, I love going through the mud at the edge of the dried-up lakes! I also like going down the dirt road to Pinheads farm, I don't know his real name, Grandaddy just always calls him pinhead. I imagine he has a sister named eraser butt! He has cows, I love the cows because they are soft.
We sleep on air mattresses at Grandaddy's house. I usually share one with Lyssa and Logan but they beat me up in my sleep! This air bed had a hole in it so I pretty much woke up on the floor! I don't care though, I am always happy to wake up at Grandaddy's!

Lyssa and I used to have to take out the old fishing boat before Uncle got his kayak. The kayak is much easier to use! Grandaddy and Aunt had to come point us toward shore, we couldnt' make the boat turn!

We have many bikes, trikes, and even a 4-wheeler at Grandaddy's house! The sun is setting in this picture, that is why I am all orange! I was waiting for Loge to get done with the 4-wheeler so I could use it. I want to drive it fast but Grandaddy but a thingy on it that limits the speed. His driveway is long and dirty and it is so much fun to ride down. I always get filthy but that doesn't matter because all I have to do is go jump in the lake! My mom says it is relaxing for everyone at the lake because the only rules are to stay safe. I can pretty much do what I want and there is no bedtime. I am always worn out at the end of the day and Grandaddy always makes a fire down by the lake and we listen to odd music by this Zappa guy and make s'mores. I can't wait for summer!

This is the view from the house as the sun sets over the lake. I can't wait!!

My Sweet Valentine

For Valentines Day my girl scout troop went to one of the local retirement homes. We sang songs, danced with some of the residents, handed out cupcakes and cookies, and sat down and talked with the senior citizens. I was a little nervous and scared, some of the people were a little scary to me but they were all nice and I wasn't nervous after a few minutes. It felt good to make people smile. My mom told me that they really love to have children visit them because so many of them don't ever get to see their grandkids. Plus children remind them of being young. I am still shy around the older people but I am not scared of them anymore.

Spring-time weather!

It was nice and warm today so Mom took us to the little park near my improv class so I could burn off some energy before class started. I was so happy to be outside in shorts and not have to be bundled up! The sunshine was so nice, there was a little breeze, it was nice to play!

My friend gave me a make-over one day last week, when she was done I came downstairs to show mom my new beautiful look! I did a few twirls in my fancy dress to show off my mad dancing skills! I love the one where you can see my hair flying all around. I think I might want to take dance lessons now, probably jazz and hip-hop. Mom says we'll have to look into it. Yay!

GOOOOOOOO Gators! We found some Gator rainbow Bread at Publix the day of the big game. I talked mom into getting some, it wasn't hard to do, she thought the bread was really cool too. When we got home I couldn't wait to make a sandwich but first I had to take a little orange bit and put it on the bread to make it look like it had a "G" on it! I had a delicious turkey sandwhich and mom even bought cheetos because they are orange! I drank blue capri sun with it! I am pretty sure my Gator lunch gave some good luck to them because the Gators won the national champ. game! yay!

Much to do at the Zoo!

The ropes were right in front of the squirrel monkey cages so we were acting like monkeys of course! I want some ropes like this in my room!We spent most of the day in this play area, I didn't actually see very many animals.
Can you see me? This neat tree was in the play area and you could only reach it by going through a rope tunnel that was way up high. It was small and hot inside and I was pretending the tree was eating me!

You talkin' to me? YOU talkin' to ME? This crazy bird was on the railing of the bridge, it wasn't in a cage! Mom didn't want me to get too close though, she is such a worry wart. This was the first thing we saw at the zoo, well except for when a bird pooped on Aunt Jenny's hand in the parking lot!

This was so neat. The little huts were in the play area and we were isung the straw to make some shade to get under! I thought it was fun to see how old tree parts could be used to make houses.
