We went to the Fernandina Shrimp Festival with Jason, Nicole,Evan, Sarah, JB, and Haha. It was pretty cool. There were people dressed as pirates and lots of artists with things to sell. We had bbq for lunch at this funky little place then got ice cream from a street vendor. On the way back to the car we stopped and all the adults (except Mommy, she was pregnant) played on the playground with me! THEN we all went as a group to see the movie Iron Man at the movie theater at Regency, I got to sit next to Sarah and Cody and it was so cool! It was one of the best days ever!

August 20,2008 was a very happy day in my life. My baby sister Skye was born! I was in the delivery room with Mommy, Daddy, Aunt Jen, and Mammaw. It was kind of scary but pretty neat too. When I saw Skye for the first time I felt happy, excited, and overjoyed! I was the first one that got to hold her and the nurse even let me put Skye's footprints on the paper! It seemed like it took forever to Skye to get here but it was only about 5 hours, but I got bored anyway. Things changed a lot once we got home and I love having a baby to cuddle up to. I thought she cried too much at first but now I am used to it and she isn't as fussy as she was when she was born. I felt really bad for her though because she had to have her heel pricked 5 days in a row because of the stuff that made her turn yellow. Her little heels were all bruised up and it hurt her if I touched them. But now they are all better and I tickle her feet all of the time!
Here I am on my 10th birthday. I got to have two parties, one at Mammaw's and one at Cody,Sarah, J.B.,and Heather's house! Sarah decorated it with awesome flowers and a beautiful banner that she made and they hung a huge sheet of paper on the wall for everyone to sign. It was really awesome! My butterfly cake was so cool, I frosted it and decorated it myself so it was totally me. I got to do my favorite things on my special day, I swam and hung out with my friends! My cool comic book, the dress-up clothes, and the pottery wheel were the most awesome presents ever! I am still planning a slumber party for my kid friends sometime in November....lucky mom!!
